Mr. Shinichi Nakano, a founding partner of our company, was born in Ginza, Tokyo. He graduated from Keio High School in 1976 and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the School of Engineering at Columbia University in 1980. He then completed a Master of Science (MS) degree at Stanford University’s School of Engineering in 1981. In 1981, he joined IBM, where he was involved in the development of operating systems (OS) and hard disks, and was assigned to the Southeast Asia and Oceania region division. After working at IBM for over ten years, he took over the family business by becoming president of Nakano Warehouse USA in 1993. In 1999, he became president of Nakano Transport & Warehouse Co., Ltd. in Japan, and has served as the group chairman since 2009.

In 2023, Nakano Transport & Warehouse Co., Ltd. celebrated its 100th anniversary and set new strategic goals aiming to gradually expand its real estate business. To this end, Mr. Nakano acquired a Real Estate Management qualification in 2022 and obtained a real estate license (宅地建物取引士) in 2023. With over 40 years of experience in real estate sales and management in both Japan and the United States, Mr. Nakano co-founded our company in 2021 together with Chairman YASHIN HU.
